      • Attendees
      • Meeting PowerPoint
      • Meeting Notes
      • Initial Job Skills Analysis Summary
      • Outcomes + Next Steps

        • 72 participants representing 16 colleges, 12 industry partners, 2 Workforce Investment Boards, and several other workforce development stakeholders attended

        • A marketplace discussion combining industry and faculty interests resulted in 3 priority areas the group felt warranted our attention:

          • A communication infrastructure such that we can all be better connected

          • Joining forces on internships/apprenticeships

          • Focusing on curriculum such that, what community college’s teach syncs with industry needs (within the constraints of community college reality :-)  Volker Joehnk volunteered to write up a Best Practices approach to this (thank you Volker!!)

        • An initial Job Skills Analysis was led by Ann Beheler - see summary link above

        • Because of strong interest coming in to the marketplace, the Planning Team shared it will be in touch with faculty regarding a near future ICT Faculty Forum

        • The Planning Team will use brief surveys of Industry partners and faculty to determine if/how/when we might all come together again (included in this email)

        • Lastly, it was generally agreed that we should come up with a better title for this focus since Computer User/Computer Network Support is not ideal - this will be taken up by the Planning Team

Industry partners:  please take a moment to complete this 3 question survey so we have a sense of your interests moving forward!
